Wollongong Gas Limited (1902 - 1977) |

The Wollongong Gaslight Company was registered under the Companies act 1974 on 5 April 1882. The Company supplied gas for street lighting and domestic purposes from 20 August 1883. Production of gas from coal ceased in 1977 when a pipeline from South Australia began supplying natural gas to the area. |
