| Born: 1850 Germany. Died: 12 October 1877 Walcha, New South Wales, Australia. | ||
Ludwig accompanied his family from Hamburg to Australia on the Alster, arriving on 20 September 1853. He worked on the family's pastoral holdings and between 1 April 1873 and 1 April 1874 managed the Holstein estate for his father. He had two children to Anna Margrethea Dorothea Hinz.
